Scrum Master

Overview

As a Scrum Master at Lights on Heights, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of Agile methodologies across our projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate the Agile process, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a servant leader and coach to the Agile team, guiding them in the adoption and practice of Scrum principles and values.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Remove impediments and blockers that hinder the team’s progress, enabling them to deliver high-quality products on time.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within the team and across the organization.
• Work closely with product owners to prioritize backlog items and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Act as a shield for the team, protecting them from external distractions and influences.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members, stakeholders, and other teams.
• Continuously monitor and track team performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile principles and methodologies, with hands-on experience implementing Scrum.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for continuous learning and self-improvement.
