Accountant

Overview

As an Accountant at Lights on Heights, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will work closely with the finance team to maintain financial stability, analyze financial data, and support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, general ledger, and financial statements.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting and finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification preferred.
• Proven experience as an accountant or similar role.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
