A Night of Insight: CloudClinic Twitter Space Hosted by Oludayo Sokunbi

On April 16th, 2023, a captivating and informative Twitter space took place, hosted by Oludayo Sokunbi, a renowned Twitter influencer known for assisting Nigerians in their search for study and relocation opportunities abroad.

With a massive following of over 249,000 people, Deewon (@Oludeewon) brought together an engaging panel of experts from Cloud Clinic Ltd. to discuss a critical topic: Japa and Your Health: Learn how to use CloudClinic to enhance your japa plans and health.”

CloudClinic: Revolutionizing Healthcare Access

The CEO of CloudClinic, Mr. Ifeanyi Aneke, kicked off the conversation with an overview of the company’s mission and vision. Committed to ensuring that every Nigerian has access to quality healthcare, CloudClinic offers a convenient and user-friendly app that allows users to book appointments with doctors, have virtual consultations, receive accurate prescriptions, and much more – all without leaving their homes.

This innovative approach eliminates the need for long drives and wait times at hospitals, making healthcare more accessible than ever before.

The Importance of Staying Healthy

Dr. Amy Ojiakor, the Clinical Director of CloudClinic, delved into the significance of maintaining both physical and mental health, particularly for those with hectic relocation plans.

She emphasized the risks associated with neglecting regular check-ups and the potential hazards of ignoring common health issues such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and malaria.

Dr. Ojiakor highlighted how CloudClinic can help anyone access healthcare services at any time and from anywhere, regardless of their busy schedules.

The High Cost of Healthcare Abroad

Deewon, the Twitter space host, stressed the importance of taking care of one’s health before relocating to a foreign country. He explained that healthcare costs in countries like the UK, USA, Canada, and Europe can be prohibitively expensive, especially for those without health insurance.

As the Nigerian pidgin saying goes, “Na person wey dey alive dey japa” – it is only when you are alive and well that you can successfully relocate.

Deewon encouraged his audience to embrace the healthcare revolution brought about by CloudClinic’s innovative app.

Keeping the Audience Engaged

With about 80+ audience in attendance, Ejiroghene Pepper, Co-host and CloudClinic’s Business Development Manager, did a fantastic job of maintaining audience engagement while discussing the benefits of using CloudClinic for their healthcare needs.

Unique Features of CloudClinic

Toward the end of the twitter space, the floor was open for a Q & A session that allowed the audience to ask insightful questions. Mr. Flourish Nnamdi, the Product Manager, owned this session as he answered questions from the audience, explaining some of the unique features of the app, including the Proximity Location feature that uses GPS to connect patients to healthcare facilities nearest to them.

He also spoke about the app’s security feature that empowers patients to control access to their medical records. Our blog post on how CloudClinic is set to revolutionize healthcare for everyone, extensively highlights all features. Curious? Click to read.
